River Town Dental is looking for a full time and/or part time Dental Hygienist to join our productive, patient oriented, and reputable office. JOB DESCRIPTION/SKILLS: Dental Hygienists perform basic dental duties as well as assist with more advanced procedures. Responsibilities and duties for a Dental Hygienist include: Screening patients during checkups. Reviewing a patient’s dental history. Recommending care to improve a patient’s oral health. Performing preventative dental care. Teaching patients about proper teeth cleaning techniques Applying fluoride treatments. Monitor supplies. Taking x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA). Outstanding communication skills. Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job. Attention to detail
